Commodities Algo Provider guide: gold and spot commodities, from TradingView to Triggon.

Commodities are their own category on Triggon, with their own symbol list, their own instrument model, their own fee setting and their own ceilings. Gold is not a currency pair and not a stock, and this guide does not treat it as one. It walks the route in order: the spot instruments you can declare, how a CFD on broker margin is modelled, how your TradingView alerts reach Triggon, the evidence you export, the costs, the application and what happens after approval.

This route is open for applications right now.

Is this your route?

Yes, if

Your Strategy trades spot gold or another spot commodity as a Pine Script Strategy on TradingView and fires webhook alerts. Where you execute it, a CFD broker with or without MetaTrader 5, is your business.

Not this route, if

Your Strategy trades exchange-listed futures contracts (COMEX gold, NYMEX crude, with expiries and contract months): Triggon has no catalog or price feed for those and does not offer them. Or you take the trades by hand: the commodities Manual guide is yours.

Your roadmap

Eleven steps; seven before the application, four inside Triggon. The application's route screen shows the same list.

  1. Prepare your TradingView Strategybefore you apply

A Pine Script Strategy on TradingView, on a chart of the symbols you will declare, on a TradingView plan that can send webhook alerts. Triggon never sees the script itself, only the alerts it fires.

  2. Sort out your CFD brokerbefore you apply

Spot metals and energy are dealt through a broker on margin. Triggon does not connect to your broker; declaring it is optional.

  3. Choose the instruments you will declarebefore you apply

Only instruments Triggon has enabled can be declared. Enabled today: XAUUSD. Up to 1 per application.

  4. Plan your alertsbefore you apply

One alert per declared symbol, firing on entries, stops, targets and exits, with the message shape Triggon reads. The private connection it points at is issued in your Provider Hub after approval.

  5. Export your backtest evidencebefore you apply

A TradingView Strategy Tester export (CSV), or a MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester or History report saved as HTML or XLSX with the terminal language set to English.

  6. Prepare your Provider profilebefore you apply

Your public name, a one-line summary, a full description, optional links and images. Subscribers read this before they subscribe.

  7. Review pricing and feesbefore you apply

The Hub creation cost, its validity period, the minimum subscription prices for this market and the platform fee are all stated before you apply, from the current platform settings.

  8. Complete the applicationin Triggon

The form collects what you prepared and validates it. The Hub creation cost is charged from your Triggon wallet when you submit.

  9. Wait for admin reviewin Triggon

An admin approves, asks for revisions or rejects, always with a reason. Resubmitting after a revision request is free.

  10. Connect and test in your Provider Hubin Triggon

After approval: copy the private connection details, send a test alert for every declared symbol in test mode, verify the health check, then press Go Live.

  11. Publish and build your recordin Triggon

Go Live lists the Strategy on the Marketplace with the price and seats you set. Every Signal from then on is recorded permanently.

1. Your TradingView Strategy on a commodity chart

What you need. A Pine Script Strategy on a chart of each instrument you will declare, on a TradingView plan that can send webhook alerts.

Which chart, and the symbol that matters. Use a feed whose symbol is spelled the way Triggon lists the instrument: OANDA:XAUUSD or FX_IDC:XAUUSD arrive as XAUUSD. A chart symbol that is a different spelling of the same metal (a broker's own gold ticker, or an index-style name) will not resolve to XAUUSD. The safest choice is your Strategy's per-instrument connection, issued after approval, where the instrument is fixed by the connection and the alert need not name it.

Spot CFD or leveraged product. Spot on this route is the broker CFD on the metal or energy: dealt on margin, no expiry, long and short both allowed, leverage up to 20×. The "Futures" option means a leveraged broker derivative, the same product family; it does not mean an exchange-listed contract with a delivery month.

Alert coverage. Entries, stop and target updates, partial closes, target hits, stop hits and closes. The TradingView page lists what each alert can express.

2. Your CFD broker

Spot metals and energy are dealt through a broker on margin, not on an exchange. Triggon does not connect to the broker.

What Triggon asks for

Optionally, the name of your broker, chosen from a list, shown on your Marketplace card. No credentials, no API keys, no terminal login, and no connection.

If you use MetaTrader 5

Most CFD brokers deal gold through MetaTrader 5, often under a suffixed or house symbol (XAUUSDm, GOLD). Triggon's instrument is XAUUSD; the terminal's report import maps broker spellings, and the Strategy Tester or History report is accepted as backtest evidence. MetaTrader 5, explained from the start →

Verify the instrument at the broker

In the terminal's symbol Specification, check the contract size (100 troy ounces per standard lot of gold at most brokers, which is also the size Triggon models) and the leverage the account allows. Declare a band Triggon can honour, not the broker's maximum.

Credentials

Your Strategy's private connection and secret are issued in the Provider Hub after approval, shown to nobody else, and rotatable at any time.

Your subscribers and execution. Auto-Trade currently supports Binance, Bybit, CoinEx, LBank and MetaTrader 5. Subscribers of a commodities Strategy act on your Signals themselves, in Telegram and in the app, at their own broker.

3. The instruments you declare, and what the market imposes

The listSpot precious metals, energy and industrial metals from the same source that prices them: gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, WTI and Brent crude among them. No agricultural instruments, because the source has none.
Enabled nowXAUUSD. An instrument is opened only when its live price, charts and contract specification are all in place; the rest show greyed in the application.
Per applicationUp to 1 instruments, each a separate private connection and a separate test before Go Live.
LeverageA declared band up to 20×, the retail product-intervention limit for gold that brokers apply broadly.
TimeframesFrom 5m upwards; the live price for this market can be up to about two minutes old at the source.
Market hoursSpot metals trade through the week and close at the weekend, like forex. A closed-market or stale price is refused for charts and monitoring rather than used.

4. How your alerts reach Triggon

Prepare now

Write the alert message in the shape Triggon reads (event type, instrument, side, price, stop, targets and sizes, a timestamp from TradingView's {{timenow}} placeholder) and confirm in the alert log that the Strategy fires on the events you expect.

After approval

One private connection per declared instrument and a secret, issued in the Connection tab of your Provider Hub, with ready-made alert messages. One alert per chart.

Test mode

Parses and validates an alert completely and stores nothing. Every declared instrument must pass before Go Live. A refusal names its reason.

What cannot be tested before approval

The connection itself. Test the alert events, the numbers and the backtest export before you apply.

5. Backtest evidence

From TradingView

Set the Strategy Tester's initial capital to $10000, then List of Trades → Export (CSV), one file per instrument, with the instrument in the file name.

From MetaTrader 5

Export the Strategy Tester or History report as HTML or XLSX with the terminal language set to English. The import reads volume in lots and works the contract value out from the report's own profit figures (100 ounces for gold comes out of the numbers, not out of an assumption). The step-by-step export →

Preview before you submit: the application shows how the file was read before anything is stored. Imported history is marked as imported and does not count towards the Verified checkmark. What Verified means →

6. Your Provider profile

Identity

Your name, email and country come from your Triggon Profile and are shown read-only in the application.

The Strategy, described

A unique English name, a one-line summary, a full description, up to three trading styles, a risk level, and the cadence.

Links and images

Optional website and social handles, a logo, a banner, a profile picture and a cover image.

7. Pricing and fees on the commodities route

Read live from the platform settings. Commodities has its own Hub cost and validity setting, separate from forex.

Hub creation cost$5, charged from your Triggon wallet when you submit. It is the application fee and buys the Strategy's Hub 1 month(s) of validity from approval. Not refunded; a resubmission after a revision request is free.
Minimum subscription pricesMonthly $6.08, quarterly $18.04, yearly $71.77. Maximum $10,000.
Platform fee15% of each subscription; you keep 85%.

8. The application

Opened in Telegram. It confirms the route you chose here, links this guide on every step, and labels the venue field Broker, never Exchange.

What it asks, on this route

Provider info, then the Strategy: name, summary, description, styles, risk level, market: Commodities (fixed from your route), spot CFD or the leveraged product, position mode, the instruments from the picker, your broker (optional), timeframes, the leverage mode and band (within 20×), the take-profit method, the maximum capital risk per position, prices and seats. Then the uploads, branding, operations and the review. You are not asked what fees to assume: Triggon applies the same maker and taker rates to every Strategy, so published results stay comparable.

What it does not ask

No broker credentials, no terminal login, no API keys, no connection details. No take-profit ladder; no drawdown claim.

Save and resume

Every step is saved on the server; leave and return with your route, market and answers preserved. Nothing sensitive is stored in your browser.

Before you can submit

The checklist at the end of this page, confirmed item by item, and the fees shown once more. Then Submit and Pay.

9. After you submit

  1. Submitted. The Hub creation cost is charged and the application locks for review.
  2. Admin review. Approved, revisions requested (resubmitting is free), or rejected, each with a written reason. What is reviewed →
  3. Approval. Provider profile and earnings wallet created, Strategy provisioned as Pending, Hub created with the validity you paid for, counting from now.

10. Connect and test in your Provider Hub

The Provider Hub's Connection tab in the app: one private connection per declared market with a Copy button, the masked secret with a Reveal button, and the Setup Guide.
Provider Hub · Connection tab (the app as it is today)
  1. Open the Setup Guide in the Connection tab and copy the private connection and the ready-made alert message for each declared instrument.
  2. Point each chart's alert at its connection and fire it in test mode until every declared instrument shows a passed test.
  3. Add the health check to your script and let it run; Go Live waits for it.
  4. Press Go Live. Your Strategy is listed on the Marketplace with the price and seats you set.

11. Publishing, subscribers and your responsibilities

What publishing means

Every Signal from Go Live on is permanent and public. Your share of each subscription lands in your wallet. After 20 closed trades over 30 live days the Strategy is ranked by its Triggon Score.

What we ask of you

Complete Signals with a stop and at least one target, managed to a close. Keep the Strategy running through the trading week; a silent Strategy is warned, then suspended with its subscribers told.

What you can change

Prices (above the minimum), seats, pausing, Hub recharges: yourself. Description, links, images and declared trading facts: reviewed first.

What is fixed

The route (Algo), the market (commodities) and the instrument type. A different route or market is a new Strategy.
